The Cattaraugus County Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA), as a public benefit corporation was created in 1971 to retain, promote and assist private sector industrial and business development, thereby advancing job opportunities and economic welfare to the people of Cattaraugus County. The CCIDA is a self-funded entity.

The Cattaraugus County Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA) serves as the economic development “one-stop shop” for retaining and assisting not only those businesses that are already located here, but we strive to continue to grow area businesses and businesses that want to relocate to Cattaraugus County. Assistance is available in locating potential building or building sites for interested companies. Over the past three decades the CCIDA has assisted many not-for- Profit entities such as Olean General Hospital, Saint Bonaventure University and Parent Ed which have all added to the overall quality of life in Cattaraugus County. The IDA has also assisted area manufacturing facilities which includes Setterstix, Inc., Cherry Creek Woodcrafters and Stride Tool. The IDA has also been very instrumental in the growth of the county's Tourism industry as well, they have helped finance tourism destinations which include Holiday Valley and HoliMont.

We will help you take advantage of Industrial Revenue Bonding to obtain low-cost financing on eligible projects. Other IDA benefits include abatement of an assortment of taxes to assist your business. This county-wide Industrial Development Agency provides a variety of services to assist in the creation and retention of employment opportunities. The CCIDA has authorization over financing options and provides technical assistance to developers, industries, and other economic development organizations.

MISSION: The purpose of the CCIDA is to retain, promote, attract and develop job and business opportunities and economically sound commerce and industry in cities, towns and villages in Cattaraugus County.
